Device options include your built-in keyboard, an additional keyboard, various controllers, joysticks, gamepads, and more. Lots of options: Whether you just want to create some advanced shortcuts to use while you're working, or you want to configure additional devices to perform different types of functions, you can do so through this app. With a bit of experimenting, you can create all kinds of automated processes to streamline tasks.
We're reporting it through the proper channels and are being told to use the other proper channels and make more specific requests.ControllerMate for Mac gives you the ability to customize various devices, including the keyboard and mouse, joystick, gamepads, and more, for use with your computer.
We're being delivered drivers that break functions that were working fine beforehand.
I know I'm in a bit of a rant but honestly it is upsetting me and I feel it's reasonable to be upset about this situation and how it's being handled. working on known issues and open tickets (since this has been around since at least 10.7.1, confirmed by the customers who did the testing instead of the people responsible, who communicated their findings to other customers instead of the people responsible for customer relationship reading the official support forum posts having a proper QA phase for the drivers before releasing them I feel like all of this could be easily avoided by either
It does sound a bit ridiculous but sadly it is kinda what's happening here. hope that the requested version will be deemed worthy to be made available to the public Report those and request these older versions to be available via the official support channels (where they should be available in the first place or why even bother having a download archive?) Keep track of what versions are working Keep track of the support tickets for the support
Still it's unclear what else the customers need to do to get a working driver for their very expensive desk decorations. So it's not entirely the same thing and fair to say that this is not the ticket we're looking for. Granted, it's the same problem but with a different DCC. Then, restart 3DconnexionHelper (open the "3Dconnexion" pane in System Preferences, say) and then launch Fusion 360.
One workaround is to quit Fusion and terminate the "3DconnexionHelper" process using Activity Monitor.
We're tracking this as bug MAC-339 and we're aiming to include a fix in the next driver update (likely v. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, any work-arounds? It's been way too many years since that was the case.īut all of the above wouldn't be such a huge deal if we could just go to their drivers archive and download the last stable version, right? And again 3DConnexion manages to disappoint by not having updated the archive since version 10.6.7 (at least for macOS that is, since there are 2 archived drivers for macOS and 20 for windows). I've been using 3DConnexion devices for about 14 years now and I don't want to go all pepperidge farm here, but I do remember a time when their drivers were working fine. It's a real shame how 3DConnexion treats their customers who bought their "pro" hardware but not caring enough to make their drivers work. They promised a fix for 10.7.3 but clearly that was bs once again. Unfortunately this problem exists since 10.7.2 which has killed all devices buttons for blender.
Could you be the hero we need and upload your archived version of 10.7.0 r3386? I would be eternally grateful and fill up all my flash drives with backups of this file.
